Climbing and abseiling remain one of the most popular outdoor activity combinations for adults and children alike, combining skill, strength and a little courage to provide a really satisfying experience. Our climbing and abseiling routes provide suitable challenges for everyone. Whether you are new to climbing and abseiling, keen to start lead climbing, experienced but wanting to improve or needing a formal climbing qualification, we have something for you.
All our climbing takes place on natural rock, typically one of the many Dartmoor Tors located between Exeter or Plymouth or on the limestone cliffs of the south coast or Chudleigh near Exeter. A day climbing typically ends with an exhilarating abseil down a cliff face or over the edge of a disused viaduct.

Our superb Wye Valley canoeing trips combine nature spotting and bushcraft with a canoeing journey on the stunningly beautiful river Wye in south Wales. Lasting between three and seven days, these canoeing trips can include as much bushcraft and campcraft skills as you can learn as well as several other activities, such as climbing, caving and moorland walking.
This introductory course is perfect for those that have not been climbing or abseiling before, or if you want to progress outside onto real rock having had experience in a climbing wall or tower. No previous experience and only a minimal level of fitness is necessary for this course.
For a perfect combination of water and land based activities, why not try two half day activities. This course, based on both the north and south coasts of Devon, combines half a day of climbing and abseiling, plus half a day of the ever popular and exhilarating activity called coasteering (Link to Coasteering Page). As with climbing, no experience is necessary for the coasteering activity.
These action packed multi-activity weekends in Devon are ideal for groups, parties, birthdays, special events as well as stag and hen weekends. Larger groups can pack as many of whichever activities they choose into the two days, whilst smaller groups and couples can choose from one of our scheduled multi-activity weekends (Link).
