River Wye Mini Canoeing Expedition - £POA

Our superb Wye Valley canoeing trips combine nature spotting and bushcraft with a canoeing journey on the stunningly beautiful river Wye in south Wales. Lasting between three and seven days, these canoeing trips can include as much bushcraft and campcraft skills as you can learn as well as several other activities, such as climbing, caving and moorland walking.

Wild Foods Experience 1 Day - £50pp

‘When the Tide is out, the table is set’. Using our Canadian canoes, we can teach you all about hunting and foraging for ‘Food for Free’. We rely on Mother Nature to provide for our needs collecting oysters, mussels, cockles, marsh samphire at low tide, wild garlic from the woods, sea beet from rocky beaches and an abundance of tasty and nutritious nettles. There are also bass to be caught to test you fishing skills and patience or we can head further afield towards the sea to find a wealth of other fresh fish. Make your own fire the traditional way, then sit back and enjoy your meal!

River Dart Canoeing and Camping - £125pp

A fantastic and extremely popular activity combination, our canoeing with campcraft and bushcraft overnight trip is ideal for small or large groups. Learn all the basic canoeing skills on Devon’s beautiful river Dart and all the bushcraft and campcraft skills you will need. Then spend an evening around the camp fire, cook your own bush tucker and try your hand at whittling and wood carving.

Bushcraft and Campcraft Day Courses - £50pp

Learn all the basic bushcraft and campcraft skills you need to enjoy a day or night in the outdoors. From shelter building to traditional fire lighting with flint and steel! A bushcraft, campcraft or wilderness survival course can also be combined with a journey in open canoes for a memorable trip.

River Dart Canoeing Day - £50pp

Amazing scenery, stunning wildlife, a fantastic canoeing journey anyone can enjoy. Glide down Devon’s River Dart Estuary, paddling with the tide to a picnic or barbeque around the camp fire over low water. Spot Kingfishers flitting from tree to tree whilst seals swim around your canoe. Trips start and finish in Totnes and can include a trip to a local pub. Canoe camps are also available for 2 day expeditions on this beautiful estuary. Traditional fire lighting demonstration and lessons is included in this trip.

Two day Multi-Activity Weekends - £95pp

These action packed multi-activity weekends in Devon are ideal for groups, parties, birthdays, special events as well as stag and hen weekends. Larger groups can pack as many of whichever activities they choose into the two days, whilst smaller groups and couples can choose from one of our scheduled multi-activity weekends (Link). Activities available include kayaking and canoeing, climbing and abseiling, campcraft and bushcraft, coasteering, caving, archery and rifle shooting and more.

Adventure & Dartmouth Golf Club Basic Package - £199pp

There is nothing basic about this adventure and accommodation package! Enjoy two fantastic and exciting adventure activities from Essential Adventure, combined with two nights bed and breakfast at the exclusive Dartmouth Gold and Country Club, including full use of the leisure suite. Set in the amazing grounds of this chamionship level course, DGCC is within easy distance of some great adventure activities such as canoeing on the river Dart, coasteering, caving or climbing. On site we now provide archery, air rifles and clay pigeon shooting for families, groups and stag adventures and hen weekends.
